February is Black History Month: The Beautiful Things That Heaven Bears by Ethiopian born writer Dinaw Mengestu. March is Contemporary Fiction Month: Away by Amy Bloom which will pair with The Beautiful Things That Heaven Bears as a story about the immigrant experience.
