About the Friends
The Friends of the Rowley Public Library is a nonprofit, 501(c)3 organization whose sole mission is to support the Rowley Public Library by providing financial assistance to help defray the cost of library and staff development programs not covered under the annual operating budget, and by organizing volunteers to assist library staff.
Why support the Library?
Rowley is a unique community— and at the heart of it is The Rowley Public Library. The Library offers free and open access to information, education and learning. Thanks to the generous commitment of many dedicated citizens, the Library can continue to provide books, information and educational programs to the hundreds of patrons who come through our doors each week.

Singer/songwriter Miguelli held a free guitar clinic sponsored by the Friends at the library, in advance of his November 22nd library performance. The clinic targeted teens and up and focused on all genres of contemporary guitar-playing, including blues, rock, folk, jazz and pop. Miguelli also conducted two guitar classes at Triton Regional High Schoool during his Rowley visit.
The L.A.-based Miguelli, who has toured with Don Henley, Billy Joel and Sheryl Crow, recently produced and released a single, "Twirl," which is available on iTunes and Amazon.com. Check out myspace.com/miguellimusic for more information about the artist. |

Membership Coordinator

Working closely with Friends’ Executive Board, the Membership Coordinator will develop and implement innovative ways to build Friends’ membership. Primary responsibilities include membership outreach through traditional media and the Internet, database management, and managing the annual membership appeal. Acoustic Café Manager |

Help us plan and host an occasional evening of acoustic music “with dessert and coffee” at the Library’s Community Room. Responsibilities including identifying and scheduling talent, generating publicity, managing ticket sales and lining up volunteers to help.
